  • It seems oxymoronic to ensure female rights by outlawing their dress, doesn't it? This law will only make things harder for Muslim women in France. They will be trapped between their husbands/fathers who insist that they wear the veil and the state that says they can't.

  • Actually, Dan, even that is off the mark. If the people of a constituency feel they are best represented by a wing nut, then that is their right to vote them in. Term limits are a bad idea because it takes the decision away from the voters.
